Separate Waste Collection System

Waste collection in Forte dei Marmi is managed by ERSU SpA, part of the Retiambiente SpA Group. The Separate Waste Collection System includes door-to-door services, on-call services, and a network of waste collection centers located throughout the Versilia area.

SEPARATED WASTE COLLECTION IN FORTE DEI MARMI

Three integrated services form the Waste Management System in Forte dei Marmi, ensuring efficiency, environmental protection, and urban decorum: Door-to-door collection: household waste is collected directly at residences and businesses using dedicated containers provided by the service. Collection follows specific schedules for residential users, commercial activities, and beach establishments. On-call services: a range of services designed to meet different disposal needs, offering flexible solutions for specific types of waste. Waste Collection centers: Strategically located facilities operated by ERSU SpA, supporting the door-to-door service. These centers are reserved for private users and allow free disposal of separated waste, including items not covered by the regular collection schedule. Residual Municipal Waste (RUR) is not accepted at these centers unless otherwise specified. For further details, please consult the individual collection centers.

VIA G.B. VICO WASTE COLLECTION CENTER

To prevent illegal dumping and preserve urban decorum, the Municipality of Forte dei Marmi, in collaboration with Ersu SpA, has established a single Waste Collection Center adjacent to the parking area on Via G.B. Vico (mountain side and Massa side), replacing the former collection points previously located in other areas of town (via Matteotti, via Vittorio Venetom via Giglioli and via Olmi).

This facility serves both residents and visitors, particularly on weekends, when door-to-door collection may not be accessible.

Residual Municipal Waste (RUR) may also be disposed of here during opening hours:

Monday: 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Tuesday to Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Sunday: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Standard Time

Monday: 6:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday/Saturday: 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Thursday: closed
Sunday: 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM

If Thursday falls on a public holiday, the center will follow regular opening hours.

DOOR-TO-DOOR HOUSEHOLD COLLECTION

Please place bins and bags outside in accordance with municipal regulations and collection schedules of the Municipality of Forte dei Marmi, ensuring respectful coexistence within the community. Check the weekly calendar for collection times. Avoid placing waste out too early and always secure bags properly!
